An Act to make further Provision for the Education of the Inhabitants of Tauranga.
Preamble.
WHEREAS it has been considered expedient to provide for better school accommodation and instruction in the District of Tauranga: And whereas, in order to carry out such desire, it is intended to vest in the proper authorities certain lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto:
Be it therefore enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Tauranga School Site Act, 1884.”
2 Commencing operation of Act.
This Act shall come into operation on the thirtieth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.
3 Acts incorporated.
Upon the coming into operation of this Act, “The Education Act, 1877,”
and “The Education Reserves Act, 1877,”
shall be, and they are hereby, incorporated herewith.
4 Lands vosted in Auckland Education Board.
The pieces of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be, and are hereby, vested in the Board of Education for the Provincial District of Auckland and their successors.
5 Lands to be used as site for school building.
The said pieces of land shall be used as a site for a school building and necessary offices for primary education.

Allotment No. 263, Section No. 1, Town of Tauranga, 26 perches.
Allotment No. 256, Section No. 1, Town of Tauranga, 26 perches.
Allotment No. 289, Section No. 1, Town of Tauranga, 1 rood 30 perches.
That part of the public road or street called Durham Street, from Maclean Street to Harrington Street in he Town of Tauranga, Section No. 1, 1 rood 3 perches.
