An Act to amend “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885.”

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act is “The Hawera Hospital District Act, 1902”; and it shall form part of and be read together with “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885” (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”), and shall come into operation upon the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and two.

2 Taranaki District. Hawera District.

The First Schedule of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing the description of the “District of Taranaki,” and substituting in lieu thereof the following:—

District of Taranaki.

All that area in the colony, being the Counties of Clifton, Taranaki, Stratford, and that portion of the County of Egmont situated to the west of the Arawhata Road, in the County of Egmont, and including all boroughs therein.

District of Hawera.

All that area in the colony, being the County of Hawera and that portion of the County of Egmont situated to the east of the Arawhata Road, in the County of Egmont, and including all boroughs therein.
