2 Wellington Hospital Contributors may transfer certain land to Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy
An Act to enable the Wellington Hospital Contributors and the Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy to exchange certain Lands situate in the City of Wellington.

Preamble
WHEREAS the lands described in Schedule 1 hereto are vested in the Wellington Hospital Contributors, but would be more valuable if owned by the Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy: And whereas the lands described in Schedule 2 hereto are vested in the Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy, but would be more valuable if owned by the Wellington Hospital Contributors: And whereas it would be to the advantage of both the above-mentioned bodies if an exchange were effected of the above lands, and no statutory power at present exists to enable such exchange to be effected, and it is desirable that such power should be given:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title
The Short Title of this Act is The Wellington Hospital Contributors and Society for Relief of the Aged Needy Exchange Act 1905.
2 Wellington Hospital Contributors may transfer certain land to Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy
It shall be lawful for the Wellington Hospital Contributors (a corporation constituted under The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act 1885) to transfer to the Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy, incorporated under the same Act, the parcel of land described in Schedule 1 hereto, in exchange for the parcel of land described in Schedule 2 hereto.
3 Wellington Society for Relief of the Aged Needy may transfer certain land to Wellington Hospital Contributors
4 Trusts of lands received in exchange
The respective parcels of land to be received in exchange under the provisions of this Act by the said parties respectively shall be held by them respectively upon the same trusts and with and subject to the same powers, restrictions, and provisions as the respective parcels of land to be given in exchange by them respectively were held immediately before the effecting of such exchange, save and except the power of exchange conferred by this Act.
Schedule 1
ALL that piece or parcel of land in the City of Wellington, containing by admeasurement two (2) roods and twenty-three (23) perches, more or less, being part of the land mentioned in Schedule 3 of The Wellington Asylum, Home, Hospital, and Orphanage Reserves Act 1888: bounded towards the north-east by the Wellington Lunatic Asylum land, ninety-one decimal nine (91.9) links and two hundred and sixty-one (261) links respectively; towards the south-east by the Aged Home land, two hundred and ninety-eight (298) links; towards the south-west by a road, sixty (60) links wide, one hundred and sixteen decimal five (116.5) links and forty-eight decimal one (48.1) links respectively; towards the north-west by other part of the said Hospital land, two hundred and eleven decimal seven (211.7) links, along a line bearing north 38° 1′ east: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked SG 54088, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and therein edged red.
Schedule 2
ALL that piece or parcel of land in the City of Wellington, containing by admeasurement one (1) acre and fourteen (14) perches, more or less, being part of the land mentioned in Schedule 2 of The Wellington Asylum, Home, Hospital, and Orphanage Reserves Act 1888: bounded towards the south-east by Town Acre Number Seven hundred and seventy (770), two hundred and fifty-nine decimal four (259.4) links; towards the south-west by the Wellington Hospital land, four hundred and eighty-three decimal three (483.3) links; towards the north-east by other part of the Aged Home land, two hundred and eighty-nine decimal four (289.4) links, along a line bearing south 76° 23′ east; again towards the north-east by other part of the said Aged Home land, three hundred and fifty-five decimal two (355.2) links, along a line bearing south 12° 40′ east: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked SG 54088, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and therein edged green.
