3 Power to lease any portion of the land

An Act to vest certain Lands in the Board of Governors of the Palmerston North High School.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title

The Short Title of this Act is The Palmerston North High School Reserve Act 1905.

2 Certain lands vested in Governors of Palmerston North High School

The parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby vested in the Board of Governors of the Palmerston North High School for an estate in fee-simple for the purposes of the Palmerston North High School.

3 Power to lease any portion of the land

(1) The Board of Governors may from time to time lease any portion of the said land not immediately required for the purposes of the High School.

(2) The provisions of The Public Bodies' Powers Act 1887, shall apply to every such lease.

(3) The rents and profits of every such lease shall be applied by the Board towards the maintenance of the High School, and the improvement of the grounds thereof.

4 Repeal

Section three and Schedule 2 of The Palmerston North Reserves Act Amendment Act 1901, is hereby repealed.

Schedule

ALL that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 10 acres and 9 perches, being Section No 225 on the survey plan of the Township of Palmerston North.
