An Act to amend the Hutt Valley Tramway District Act, 1908.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Hutt Valley Tramway District Amendment Act, 1909, and it shall form part of and be read together with the Hutt Valley Tramway District Act, 1908 (hereinafter called the principal Act).

2 Polling-booths.

The provisions of section sixteen of the principal Act shall apply to every such poll on a proposal for a loan as if it had been an election of members.

3 Section 23 of principal Act amended.

Section twenty-three of the principal Act shall be read as if the words “twenty-two” were therein substituted for “thirty-two.”
