• Preamble

  WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the twentieth day of August, nineteen hundred, certain land in the Marlborough Land District, being Section No 410, Town of Kaikoura, containing nineteen acres two roods twenty-four perches, was taken under the authority of section thirty-two of The Reserves, Endowments, and Crown and Native Lands Exchange, Sale, Disposal, and Enabling Act 1898, and The Public Works Act 1894, for the purposes of a recreation-ground and site for a cottage hospital: And whereas by Order in Council dated the tenth day of August, nineteen hundred and nine, control of the said land (being part of the Kaikoura Domain) was vested in the Kaikoura Domain Board: And whereas it is desired to transfer part of the said land to the North Canterbury Hospital and Charitable Aid Board as a site for a hospital:

BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
