The public domains known as Victoria Square and the Beach Reserve, described in Schedules 1 and 2 hereto, and the land described in Schedule 3 hereto, are hereby vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Westport as pleasure-grounds within the meaning of section two hundred and ninety-nine of the Municipal Corporations Act 1908; and the Westport Borough Council shall have and be deemed to have had the like power to raise and expend loan-moneys on the said domains as a Borough Council has by law in respect of pleasure-grounds within the said section two hundred and ninety-nine.

Victoria Square

ALL that parcel of land, being Section 987, Town of Westport, containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 5 perches: bounded on the north by Lyndhurst Street, 501.9 links; on the east by a parcel of land, formerly part of Queen Street, 1002.5 links; on the south by Brougham Street, 501.9 links; on the west by Russell Street, 1002.5 links, to the commencing-point: be the said area and linkages a little more or less.

Also all that parcel of land, being Section 986, Town of Westport, containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 3 perches: bounded on the north by Lyndhurst Street, 500.6 links; on the east by Peel Street, 1002.5 links; on the south by Brougham Street, 500.6 links; on the west by a parcel of land, formerly part of Queen Street, 1002.5 links, to the commencing-point: be the said area and linkages a little more or less.

This Schedule was substituted, as from 31 October 1919, by section 3 Westport Technical School Site Act 1919 (1919 No 12).
This Schedule was repealed, as from 6 November 1924, by section 142(3) Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act 1924 (1924 No 55).
