An Act to amend the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Amendment Act, 1923, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Section 21 of principal Act amended.

Section twenty-one of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting therefrom the words “within the drainage district” wherever the same occur in paragraphs (c), (d), and (e) thereof.

3 Section 62 of principal Act amended.

Section sixty-two of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting therefrom the words “five hundred thousand pounds,” and substituting therefor the words “six hundred thousand pounds.”

4 Section 85 of principal Act amended.

Section eighty-five of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from subsection one thereof the words “in the drainage district.”
