An Act to enable the Manukau County Council to borrow certain Moneys.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Manukau County Council Empowering Act, 1941.

2 Authorizing Manukau County Council to raise special loan.

The Manukau County Council is hereby authorized and empowered, by special order and without taking the steps prescribed by sections nine to thirteen of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, to raise a special loan of four thousand five hundred pounds for the purpose of acquiring a quarry and buildings at Mangere.
