An Act to amend the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act, 1944.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Amendment Act, 1948, and shall be read with and form part of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act, 1944 (herein termed the principal Act).

2 Section 35 of principal Act (general powers of Board) amended.

Paragraph (g) of subsection one of section thirty-five of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting the words “except in compensation under section thirty-six of this Act” after the word “liable” where the same occurs in the eighth line thereof.
