An Act to Amend the Christchurch Tramway District Act, 1920.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Christchurch Tramway District Amendment Act, 1950, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Christchurch Tramway District Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Section 34 of principal Act (special loan proposals) amended.

Section thirty-four of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from the second proviso to subsection five, as enacted by section nine of the Christchurch Tramway District Amendment Act, 1921, the words “twenty thousand pounds”, and substituting the words “forty thousand pounds”.
