An Act to amend “The River Boards Act, 1884.”

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act is “The River Boards Act 1884 Amendment Act, 1896.”

2 Amendment of section 121 of “The River Boards Act, 1884.”

Section one hundred and twenty-one of “The River Boards Act, 1884,” is hereby amended by the addition of the following words: “and no part of such moneys shall be drawn out of such bank except by cheque, signed by the Treasurer and countersigned by a member of the Board.”
