An Act to amend the Stamp Duties Act, 1908.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Stamp Duties Amendment Act, 1908.

2 Declarations under Public Health Act to be exempt from stamp duty.

The Second Schedule to the Stamp Duties Act, 1908, is hereby amended by adding to the list of exemptions from stamp duty payable upon affidavits or declarations under statute the following:—

“(k.)

Made for the purposes and under the authority of the Public Health Act, 1908.”
