An Act to amend the Distress and Replevin Act, 1908.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Distress and Replevin Amendment Act, 1913, and shall form part of and be read together with the Distress and Replevin Act, 1908.

2 Exemption of chattels to the value of £50 from distress.

Section five of the Distress and Replevin Act, 1908, is hereby amended by inserting, after the word “bedding,” the word “furniture”; and by omitting the words “twenty-five,” and substituting the word “fifty.”
