An Act to amend the External Affairs Act, 1919.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the External Affairs Amendment Act, 1920, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the External Affairs Act, 1919.
2 Repeal.
(1.)
Section six of the External Affairs Act, 1919, is hereby repealed.
Certain repealed provisions of Cook Islands Act, 1915, restored.
(2.)
Sections five to eight of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and the definitions of the terms “Minister”
and “Secretary”
in section two of that Act are hereby restored.
(3.)
Nothing in section seven of the External Affairs Act, 1919, shall be deemed to charge the Minister of External Affairs with the administration of the government of the Cook Islands.
