An Act to amend the Acts Interpretation Act, 1908.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Acts Interpretation Amendment Act, 1920, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Acts Interpretation Act, 1908.
2 Section 24 of Acts Interpretation Act 1908, amended
Section twenty-four of the Acts Interpretation Act, 1908, is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (c) the words “being a responsible Minister of the Crown”
after the words “the Executive Council of New Zealand.”
3 Duration of Act.
This Act shall continue in operation for four months from the first day of July, nineteen hundred and twenty, and no longer; and on the expiration of this Act the words omitted as hereinbefore provided from paragraph (c) of section twenty-four of the Acts Interpretation Act, 1908, shall be deemed to be restored.
