An Act to amend the Electrical Supply Authorities Association Act 1930

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Electrical Supply Authorities Association Amendment Act 1968, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Electrical Supply Authorities Association Act 1930.

2 Remuneration of President

(1)

Section 16 of the Statutes Amendment Act 1938 (as amended by section 3 of the Electrical Supply Authorities Association Amendment Act 1959 and section 7(1) of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby further amended by omitting from subsection (2) the words “such annual allowance, not exceeding eight hundred dollars, as may from time to time be fixed by the Association”, and substituting the words “an annual allowance, not exceeding such amount as may from time to time be approved by the Minister of Finance, to be fixed from time to time by the Association”.

Section 3 of the Electrical Supply Authorities Association Amendment Act 1959 is hereby repealed.

This Act is administered in the New Zealand Electricity Department.
