An Act to amend the Wool Industry Act 1977

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Wool Industry Amendment Act 1981, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Wool Industry Act 1977 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Remuneration and expenses of directors and committee members

Section 13 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing subsection (1), and substituting the following subsection:

“(1)

The Board shall pay to the Chairman of the Board, directors, associate directors, and the members of any committee appointed by the Board, such fees, salary, allowances, and travelling allowances and expenses, as the Board by resolution from time to time determines.”

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
