This Act may be cited as the Administration Amendment Act (No. 2) 1982, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Administration Act 1969 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

Section 64(1) of the principal Act (as amended by section 8(1) of the Administration Amendment Act 1979) is hereby amended by omitting the expression “$4,000” in both places where it occurs, and substituting in each case the expression “$6,000”.

Section 65 of the principal Act (as amended by section 8(2) of the Administration Amendment Act 1979) is hereby amended by omitting from subsections (2) and (5) the expression “$4,000”, and substituting in each case the expression “$6,000”.

Section 8 of the Administration Amendment Act 1979 is hereby repealed.

Section 77(1)(a) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the expression “$25,000” (as substituted by section 3(1) of the Administration Amendment Act 1975), and substituting the expression “$50,000”.

Section 79(2) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the expression “$25,000” (as so substituted), and substituting the expression “$50,000”.

The amendments effected by subsections (1) and (2) of this section shall apply to the estates of all persons dying on or after the date of the passing of this Act, but shall not apply to the estates of persons dying before that date.

The Administration Amendment Act 1975 is hereby repealed.
