An Act to amend the Industrial Design Act 1966
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Industrial Design Amendment Act 1982, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Industrial Design Act 1966 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Functions of Council
Section 14 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the words “goods produced in New Zealand”
, and substituting the words “both goods produced in New Zealand and goods produced overseas from designs originated or developed in New Zealand”
.
3 Powers of Council
Section 15(2)(b) of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the words “goods produced in New Zealand”
, and substituting the words “both goods produced in New Zealand and goods produced overseas from designs originated or developed in New Zealand”
.
This Act is administered in the Department of Trade and Industry.
