An Act to amend the Primary Products Marketing Act 1953
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Primary Products Marketing Amendment Act 1982, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Primary Products Marketing Act 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Interpretation
Section 2 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing paragraph (d) of the definition of the term “primary product”
(as substituted by section 2(1) of the Primary Products Marketing Amendment Act 1975 and amended by section 26(2)(a) of the Poultry Board Act 1980), and substituting the following paragraphs:
“(d)
Hop growing; or
“(e)
Deer farming or game deer.”
This Act is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
