An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act 1989

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Broadcasting Amendment Act 1991, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Broadcasting Act 1989 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Repeal of Part V of principal Act

(1)

The principal Act is hereby amended by repealing Part V.

(2)

The following enactments are hereby consequentially repealed:

(a)

The Broadcasting Amendment Act 1989:

(b)

Section 5 of the Broadcasting Amendment Act (No. 2) 1990.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Commerce.
