An Act to amend the Valuers Act 1948

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Valuers Amendment Act 1997, and is part of the Valuers Act 1948 (“the principal Act”).

2 Functions of Institute

This section substituted s 10 of the principal Act.

3 Membership of Institute

This section substituted s 11(3) and inserted s 11(4) to (6) of the principal Act.

4 Rules of Institute

Section 16(1)(m) of the principal Act (as amended by section 7 of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is amended by omitting the expression “$10”, and substituting the expression “$500”.
