The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:

1 Title

(1)

This Act is the Apple and Pear Industry Restructuring Amendment Act 2001.

(2)

In this Act, the Apple and Pear Industry Restructuring Act 1999 is called “the principal Act”.

2 Commencement

This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

3 Regulations

Section 25(1) of the principal Act is amended by inserting in paragraphs (q) and (t), before the word “Board” in both cases where it appears, the word “new”.
