The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:

1 Title

  • This Act is the Employment Relations Amendment Act 2007.

2 Commencement

  • This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

3 Amendments to Employment Relations Act 2000
4 Age of retirement

  • Section 205 is amended by omitting “68” and substituting “70”.

5 Appointment of temporary Judges

  • (1) Section 207(2) is amended by omitting “68” and substituting “70”.

    (2) Section 207(4) is amended by omitting “68” and substituting “70”.
