The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Act 2007.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act amended
This Act amends the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989.
4 Application of certain provisions of Companies Act 1993

(1) Section 139(1) is amended by inserting
“275,”
before“292”
.(2) Section 139 is amended by adding the following subsection:
“(3) To avoid doubt, the reference in section 275(4) of the Companies Act 1993 to clause 1(a) of Schedule 7 of the Companies Act 1993 must be read as a reference to section 148(1) of this Act.”
