The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Te Roroa Claims Settlement Amendment Act 2012.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act amended
This Act amends the Te Roroa Claims Settlement Act 2008.
4 Transfer of Coastal strip: north of Omamari
Section 101 is amended by inserting the following subsection after subsection (2):
(2A)
Subsection (2) applies only to the extent that the marginal strip lies immediately adjacent to the coastline of the Coastal strip: north of Omamari.
5 Transfer of Coastal strip: south of Omamari
Section 102 is amended by inserting the following subsection after subsection (2):
(2A)
Subsection (2) applies only to the extent that the marginal strip lies immediately adjacent to the coastline of the Coastal strip: south of Omamari.
