The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Crimes Amendment Act 2012.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act amended
This Act amends the Crimes Act 1961.
4 Short title, commencement, etc
Section 1(3) is amended by,—
(a) in the item relating to Part 5, omitting
“98A”
and substituting“98F”
; and
(b) in the item relating to Part 8, omitting
“210”
and substituting“210A”
; and
(c) in the item relating to Part 9A, omitting
“216E”
and substituting“216N”
; and
(d) in the item relating to Part 12, omitting
“378”
and substituting“378F”
; and
(e) in the item relating to Part 14, omitting
“412”
and substituting“415”
.
