Education (Update) Amendment Bill

Proposed amendment

Catherine Delahunty, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 4

In clause 4, after new section 1A(3)(c) (page 14, after line 5), insert:

(d)

to commit our education system to support life-long, intergenerational learning.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends clause 4 in the Education (Update) Amendment Bill to update the objectives of the system for education and learning to ensure that any educational priorities must include the recognition that education is a life-long journey.
