Proposed amendment

Lawrence Yule, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Schedule 1: new Part 9 of Schedule 1

In Schedule 1, new Part 9 of Schedule 1, clause 27(3), delete the row relating to Eastern Institute of Technology (page 59).

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper seeks to exclude the Eastern Institute of Technology from the transitional arrangements in the Bill that convert existing polytechnics into NZIST subsidiaries.
