Ricardo Menéndez March, in Committee, to move the following amendment:
Clause 6
After clause 6(1) (page 2, after line 10), insert:
(1A)
In Schedule 4, Part 5, replace clause 1 with:

Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Social Security (Financial Assistance for Caregivers) Amendment Bill by replacing age-related payment rates for the Unsupported child’s benefit in the Social Security Act 2018 with one flat rate for all children eligible to receive it.
