Proposed amendment

Lan Pham, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 64

In clause 64, new section 331AA(2)(e), after “coastal marine area” (page 44, line 2), insert “or any public conservation land or waters”.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends the Resource Management (Consenting and Other System Changes) Amendment Bill. The Minister of Conservation should be consulted in relation to emergency response regulations if they affect public conservation land or waters, not just the coastal marine area.
