This order is made under section 31(1)(b) of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture made in accordance with section 33(c)(ii) of that Act.
Order
1 Title
This order is the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority (Walnuts) Order Revocation Order 2026.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 26 March 2026.
3 Revocation
The New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority (Walnuts) Order 2019 (LI 2019/146) is revoked.
4 Revocation of this order
This order is revoked on 26 April 2026.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 26 March 2026, revokes the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority (Walnuts) Order 2019. The revocation is at the request of the New Zealand Walnut Industry Group Incorporated, which is the recognised product group for walnuts under the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987 (the Act). The effect of the revocation is that walnuts will no longer be a prescribed product for the purposes of the Act and will not be subject to export licensing under the Act.
