Pursuant to section 29(1)(c) of the Maori Reserved Land Amendment Act 1997, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Minister of Maori Affairs, makes the following order.

1 Title and commencement

(1) This order may be cited as the Maori Reserved Land Amendment Act Schedule 3 Order 1998.
(2) This order comes into force on 30 June 1998.

Schedule 3 of the Maori Reserved Land Amendment Act 1997 is amended by adding to Part A, immediately under the word Others (which appears on page 898 of Volume 2 of the 1997 Annual Volumes of Statutes) the following details (being details of a lease to which the Maori Reserved Land Act 1955 applies and which has been omitted in error from that schedule):

Schedule 3 of the Maori Reserved Land Amendment Act 1997 is amended by adding to the part of Part A that contains details of the leases in respect of which the Maori Trust Office is the lessor (which details appear on pages 898 to 912 of Volume 2 of the 1997 Annual Volumes of Statutes) the following details (being details of a lease to which the Maori Reserved Land Act 1955 applies and which has been omitted in error from that schedule):

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 30 June 1998, adds to Schedule 3 of the Maori Reserved Land Amendment Act 1997 details of 20 leases and expired leases to which the Maori Reserved Land Act 1955 applies and which have been omitted in error from that schedule.
