The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Wild Animal Control Amendment Act 2010.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act amended
This Act amends the Wild Animal Control Act 1977.
4 Hunting or killing of wild animals
The proviso to section 8(4) is amended by inserting “land” before “administered by the Department”.
5 Wild animals on land administered by the Department of Conservation under the Conservation Act 1987 or any other enactment
Section 17(1) is amended by inserting “land” before “administered by the Department”.
