Pursuant to section 30A of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986, His Excellency the Governor-General makes the following order, acting—
(a) on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
-
(b) on the recommendation of the Minister for State-Owned Enterprises, who is satisfied that—
(i) the name of the State enterprise known as Land Corporation Limited has been changed to Landcorp Farming Limited; and
(ii) a certificate of incorporation recording that change of name and dated 15 November 2000 has been issued to that State enterprise under section 23(3)(b) of the Companies Act 1993.

Order
1 Title
This order is the State-Owned Enterprises (Landcorp Farming Limited) Order 2001.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Amendment to State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986
The State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986 (1986 No 124) is amended by omitting from Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 the words
“Land Corporation Limited”
, and substituting in each case the words“Landcorp Farming Limited”
.
4 Amendment to other enactments
The enactments specified in the Schedule are amended in the manner indicated in that schedule.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, amends a number of enactments by changing references to the name of a State enterprise to reflect the change in the name of the State enterprise from Land Corporation Limited to Landcorp Farming Limited.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
