This order is administered in the Department of Justice.
PURSUANT to section 1(2) of the Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) Act 1994, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
1 Title
This order may be cited as the Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) Act Commencement Order 1995.
2 Commencement of Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) Act 1994
The Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) Act 1994 shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1995.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 1 October 1995, the Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) Act 1994. The Act gives effect to the provisions of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
