Preamble
At Wellington this 9th day of July 2007
Pursuant to sections 2 and 201 of the Evidence Act 2006, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
1 Title
This order is the Evidence Act 2006 Commencement Order 2007.
2 Commencement of Evidence Act 2006

(1) Sections 203 to 214 of the Evidence Act 2006 come into force on 18 July 2007.
(2) The rest of the Evidence Act 2006 comes into force on 1 August 2007.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings most of the provisions of the Evidence Act 2006 into force on 1 August 2007. Transitional provisions are brought into force on 18 July 2007.
