Land Transport (Facilitated Cost-sharing Arrangement Maximum Reimbursement) Notice 2017
Pursuant to the definition of facilitated cost-sharing arrangement in section 2(1) of the Land Transport Act 1998, the Minister of Transport gives the following notice.

1 Title
This notice is the Land Transport (Facilitated Cost-sharing Arrangement Maximum Reimbursement) Notice 2017.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 1 October 2017.
3 Maximum reimbursement per kilometre
The maximum amount per kilometre that may be paid to a driver under a facilitated cost-sharing arrangement as reimbursement for the driver’s costs is $0.73.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice sets a maximum per kilometre reimbursement rate of $0.73 for drivers under a facilitated cost-sharing arrangement as defined in the Land Transport Act 1998 (the Act).
The notice comes into force on 1 October 2017, which is also the date that the definition of facilitated cost-sharing arrangement comes into force.
