The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
(1)
This Act is the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Amendment Act 2003.
(2)
In this Act, the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000 is called “the principal Act”
.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Modifications of Health Sector (Transfers) Act 1993 in respect of former employees of dissolved entities and certain employees of Ministry of Health
Section 101(1)(d) of the principal Act is amended by omitting the word “Disabilities”
, and substituting the word “Disability”
.
