The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Lawyers and Conveyancers Amendment Act 2007.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act amended
This Act amends the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006.
4 Power of Standards Committee to determine complaint or matter
Section 152(1)(b) is amended by omitting
“section 130(1)(c)”
and substituting“section 130(c)”
.
