Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Land Transport Amendment Act 2011, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Land Transport Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2012.
2 Commencement of specified sections of Land Transport Amendment Act 2011
Sections 12 to 16 of the Land Transport Amendment Act 2011 come into force on 1 August 2012.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings sections 12 to 16 of the Land Transport Amendment Act 2011 (the Act) into force on 1 August 2012.
Those sections amend various provisions of the Land Transport Act 1998, including provisions that relate to owner liability for certain offences and to infringement and reminder notices.
Some sections of the Act came into force on the day after the date on which the Act received the Royal assent, and some sections have not yet been brought into force but will be brought into force by Order in Council.
