Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Criminal Procedure Act Commencement Order 2013.
2 Commencement of rest of Criminal Procedure Act 2011
Sections 3, 4, 6, 9 to 59, 66 to 114, 115(1), 117 to 193, 212 to 244, 246 to 251, 253 to 385, 394 to 406, and 410 to 413 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011 come into force on 1 July 2013.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force on 1 July 2013 the rest of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011 (the Act), namely sections 3, 4, 6, 9 to 59, 66 to 114, 115(1), 117 to 193, 212 to 244, 246 to 251, 253 to 385, 394 to 406, and 410 to 413 of the Act. The Criminal Procedure Act Commencement Order 2011 brought into force on 5 March 2012 sections 5, 7, 8, 60 to 65, 115(2), 116, 194 to 211, 245, 252, 386 to 393, and 407 to 409 of the Act. No other provision of the Act remains to be brought into force.
