Pursuant to section 2 of the Care of Children Amendment Act (No 2) 2013, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title
This order is the Care of Children Amendment Act (No 2) 2013 Commencement Order 2014.
2 Commencement of specified provisions of Care of Children Amendment Act (No 2) 2013
The following provisions of the Care of Children Amendment Act (No 2) 2013 come into force on 31 March 2014:
(a) sections 3 to 9:
(b) section 10, to the extent that it inserts new sections 46C to 46G, 46J, and 46L to 46R:
(c) sections 11 to 38:
(d) section 39(2) to (4):
(e) sections 40 to 43.

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings specified provisions of the Care of Children Amendment Act (No 2) 2013 into force on 31 March 2014.
The rest of the Act is already in force.
