1 Title
This order is the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Extension of Act and Reduction of Powers) Amendment Act Commencement Order 2022.
2 Commencement of certain provisions of COVID-19 Public Health Response (Extension of Act and Reduction of Powers) Amendment Act 2022

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the provisions listed in section 2(2) of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Extension of Act and Reduction of Powers) Amendment Act 2022 into force on 15 December 2022. These provisions reduce the maximum penalties for infringement offences and the maximum fines for individuals convicted of offences under the COVID-19 Public Health Response Act 2020.

1 General
This is a consolidation of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Extension of Act and Reduction of Powers) Amendment Act Commencement Order 2022 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
