Gangs (Identified Gangs) Order 2024

Present:
Her Excellency the Governor-General in Council
This order is made under section 32(1)(a) of the Gangs Act 2024—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Minister of Police made in accordance with section 32(2) and (5)(a) of that Act.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Gangs (Identified Gangs) Order 2024.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 3 February 2025.
3 Principal Act
Clause 4 amends the Gangs Act 2024.
4 Schedule 2 amended
(1)
In Schedule 2, after item 4, insert:

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 3 February 2025, amends Schedule 2 of the Gangs Act 2024, which lists identified gangs for the purposes of that Act. The amendments add 2 gangs to the list in Schedule 2.
