An Act to apply a Sum of Money out of the Consolidated Fund, and other Moneys, to the Service of the Year ending the Thirtieth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act shall be “The Imprest Supply Act, 1872.”
2 £100,000 advanced on Imprest towards service of year ending 30th June, 1873.
Out of the Consolidated Fund there may be issued and applied, towards making good the Supply granted to Her Majesty by way of Imprest for the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, in addition to the sums mentioned in the Civil List Act and other Acts, any sums of money not exceeding in the whole one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000), to be charged in the manner hereafter to be expressed in any Act or Acts passed in this present Session of Parliament for appropriating the Consolidated Revenues of the Colony for the year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
3 £30,000 advanced on Imprest from Defence Loan, towards service of year ending 30th June, 1873.
Out of any of the moneys authorized to be raised under “The Defence and Other Purposes Loan Act, 1870,”
there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supply granted to Her Majesty by way of Imprest for the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, any sum of money not exceeding thirty thousand pounds, to be charged in the manner hereafter to be expressed in any Act or Acts passed in the present Session of Parliament for appropriating moneys authorized to be raised under the said Loan Act for the year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
