This district is bounded towards the North by the Waitemata Harbour; towards the East by the Auckland West Electoral District, Eden Electoral District, and Mount Roskill Highway District; towards the South-west by the Manukau Harbour to the Whau Portage; again towards the West by that portage and the Whau River to the Waitemata Harbour.

Station F 282 degrees 36 minutes 31 seconds, distant 11681¾ links; thence due East to Rocky Point 80 chains; thence bearing 126 degrees 52 minutes, distant 4250 links, to Trig. Station F; thence by a right line to Trig. Station No. 5, Kuranui Hill; thence by a right line to Trig. Station No. 1, Waiotahi Spur; thence by a right line to the middle of the Karaka Road, opposite the middle of Sandes Street; thence along the middle of the Karaka Road to the middle of Rolleston Street; thence along the middle of Rolleston Street to the middle of Hape Creek; thence along the middle of that creek by the north, east, and south boundary lines of Parawai Highway District to the Kauaeranga Stream; towards the South-west by that stream to its confluence with the Hape Creek; thence due West 80 chains; thence by a right line to the point of commencement, a distance of 286 chains or thereabouts.

This district is bounded towards the North-east by the Hawke’s Bay Electoral District; towards the South-east by the Waipawa Electoral District to the Manawatu Gorge; thence by the summit of the Tararua Range to the southwestern boundary of the Township of Fitzherbert; thence towards the South-west by the south-western boundary-lines of said township, from the summit of Tararua Range to the Manawatu River; thence by the Manawatu River to its confluence with the Oroua River; thence by that river to the north-east boundary of the Township of Carnarvon; thence by that township to the town of Sanson; thence by that town and the Hutt Small Farm Block to the Rangitikei River; thence by said river to the Rangitikei Electoral District; and towards the North and West by that electoral district.

This district is bounded towards the South-east by right lines from peak to peak along the summit of the Tararua and Rimutaka Ranges to Taourakira Head; towards the South-west by the sea and Port Nicholson; towards the South by the Thorndon Electoral District; and towards the South-west, Northwest, and North by the Foxton Electoral District: together with Somes and Ward Islands.

This district is bounded towards the North by the Greymouth Electoral District to the saddle between the Hurunui and Teremakau Rivers; thence towards the East and South-east by the summit of the Southern Alps to Whitcombe’s Pass; thence towards the South-west and South by the Hokitika River to the confluence of the Kanieri River; thence towards the West by a line running in the direction of the southern end of the Kanieri Lake Water-race Tunnel, until intersected by the southern boundary line of Reserve No. 65 produced through the Big Paddock; again towards the South-west by the said last-mentioned line, and its production to the ocean; and thence again towards the West by the ocean to the mouth of the Teremakau River.

This district is bounded towards the North-west, North, and East by the Cheviot Electoral District to the Ashley River; towards the South by the said river to the road forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 10512; towards the East by that road continued to the Oxford and Kaiapoi Road, at the southeast corner of Section No. 4553; towards the North-east by said road and the Borough of Kaiapoi to the Waimakariri River; and again towards the South by that river to Cheviot Electoral District.

This district is bounded towards the West and North-west by St. Alban’s Electoral District; towards the East by Avon Electoral District; towards the South by the River Avon to the road forming the western boundary of Section 326; thence by that road to Section 347; towards the South-east by Sections 347 and 84 to Ferry Road; towards the South-west by that road and the Borough of Sydenham to the Borough of Christchurch; towards the West and South by Christchurch Borough.

This district is bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of roads known as Wilson’s Road and the Ferry Road, and running thence along the south side of the Ferry Road in a westerly direction to the East Town Belt of the City of Christchurch; thence along the east side of the said belt to the South Town Belt of the said city; and thence along the south side of the said belt to the Lower Lincoln Road; thence along the southernmost side of the said Lincoln Road to a road known as Bright’s Road; thence in a south and easterly direction along the northernmost side of Bright’s Road to a road known as the Windmill Road; and thence along the easternmost side of the said Windmill Road to a road known as Colombo Road; thence along the east side of Colombo Road to a road known as Piper’s Road; and thence along the north side of Piper’s Road to the River Heathcote; thence along the south bank of the said river to Wilson’s Bridge; and thence northerly along the west side of Wilson’s Road to the starting point.

This district is bounded towards the North by the North Town Belt; towards the East by the East Town Belt; towards the South by a line along the middle of Worcester Street produced through Latimer Square and Cathedral Square; again towards the East by the middle of Antigua Street; again towards the South and towards the West by the River Avon to North Town Belt.

This district is bounded towards the North by the Christchurch North Electoral District; towards the East by the East Town Belt; towards the South by the South Town Belt; and towards the North-west by Lincoln Road and by Antigua Street to the River Avon.

This district is bounded towards the North from the Halswell River by a tributary of that river running through Sections 407 and 393 to the Canal Reserve, by said reserve to the River Heathcote, and by that river to the Colombo South Road; towards the West by the Sydenham Electoral District and the Stanmore Electoral District; again towards the North by the Avon Electoral District; towards the East by the sea; towards the South by Port Lyttelton, the Lyttelton Electoral District, and right lines from peak to peak following the summit of the north-western watershed of Port Lyttelton to Trig. Station on Cooper’s Knob; thence to and by a stream rising on the western side of Cooper’s Knob to its junction with the Halswell; and towards the West by the said river to the tributary before-mentioned, the starting point.

This district is bounded towards the North by right lines from peak to peak along the summit of a range of hills on the north side of Lyttelton Harbour; towards the East and West by right lines drawn due north and south through the easternmost and westernmost points of the Town of Lyttelton as originally laid out by the Canterbury Association, including the Town Reserve; and towards the South by Port Lyttelton.

This district is bounded towards the North by the Heathcote Electoral District; towards the North-east, East, and South by the sea to the mouth of Lake Ellesmere; towards the North-west by Lake Ellesmere to the mouth of the River Halswell; again towards the West by the said river to the Heathcote Electoral District, the starting point.

This district is bounded towards the North by the Great Southern Railway and the Great South Road to the south-west corner of Avon Electoral District, at Weeden’s, thence by the said Avon Electoral District; towards the East by St. Alban’s Electoral District and the Sydenham Electoral District; towards the South and East by the Heathcote Electoral District and the Akaroa Electoral District; towards the South by that district; and towards the South-west by Lake Ellesmere to the mouth of the River Selwyn, and by the said river to the Great Southern Railway, the starting point.

This district is bounded towards the North-west by the western boundary line of Westenra’s Run produced to the Rakaia River; towards the North-east by the Hororata River; towards the South-east by Lake Ellesmere; towards the South by the sea; and towards the South-west by the right bank of the Rakaia River.

This district is bounded towards the North-west by the dividing range between Canterbury and Westland, from the source of the River Rakaia to the Teremakau Saddle; towards the East and North-east by the Cheviot, Ashley, and Avon Electoral Districts; towards the South-east by the Lincoln and Selwyn Electoral Districts; and towards the South-west and South by the right bank of the Rakaia River to its source in the Southern Alps, the starting point.

This district is bounded towards the North-east by the Rakaia River; towards the South-east by the sea; towards the South-west by the Rangitata River; and towards the North-west by Ashburton Electoral District.

This district is bounded towards the North-west by the Mount Peel Road District to the Orari River, thence by the road from Tripp’s Cutting to the traffic bridge over the Rangitata River; towards the North-east by the Rangitata River; towards the South-east by the sea to the Opihi River; towards the South-west and West by that river to the eastern boundary of Runs 240 and 255.

This district is bounded towards the West by the road commencing at the Washdyke Creek, between Sections 1864 and 3131, running southerly to the south-east corner of Section 2001, thence westerly to the north-west corner of Section 3976; thence by the road running South-easterly to the southern boundary of the Municipality of Timaru; thence towards the South by the southern boundary of that municipality to the sea; and towards the East by the sea, and by Washdyke Creek to the starting point.

This district is bounded towards the North-west by Blocks numbered respectively II. and IV., Oamaru Survey District, also by Block numbered II.;; towards the North-north-east by Block numbered I., Oamaru Survey District; towards the East by high-water mark of the ocean; towards the South-east by Block numbered IV., Oamaru Survey District; towards the South by Block numbered IV.; towards the South-west by the said Block numbered IV.; and towards the West-north-west by the said Block numbered IV.

This district is bounded towards the North by the Waitaki Electoral District; towards the East by the sea; towards the South by Pleasant River; thence towards the West by a line due north to Taieri Peak; thence towards the South by a right line due west to the Waikouaiti River; thence again towards the West by said river and its eastern branch to the western corner of Section 1, Block VII., Dunback Survey District; thence by a right line due north to the Shag River, near the confluence of the Green Valley Stream; thence by the Shag River to its source, and a right line to Kakanui Peak.

This district is bounded towards the North-west by the Waitahuna River to Block VI., Waitahuna East Survey District, thence by that block to Mount Stuart; thence by the watershed, over Round Hill, Waitahuna Hill, Trig. Stations K, J, and G, Waipori Survey District, to the Taieri Electoral District; thence towards the East and North-east by the said district; thence towards the South-east by the ocean to the Clutha River; thence towards the South-west by the Clutha River (Matau branch) to the Waitahuna River.

This district is bounded towards the North-east by the summit of the Lammerlaw watershed from Lammerlaw to the source of Lees Stream; thence towards the East by that stream and the Taieri Electoral District; thence towards the South-east by the Bruce Electoral District to the Clutha River; thence towards the South-west by the Clutha River to Block IX., Beaumont Survey District; thence towards the North by that block and by Blocks I., II., and VIII., to the Tuapeka River; thence by the Tuapeka River to its source; and thence by a right line to Lammerlaw.

This district is bounded towards the North by the Dunstan Electoral District; towards the North-east by the Clutha River (Matau branch) to the sea; thence towards the South-east by the sea to Chasland’s Mistake; thence again towards the South-west by a right line to Black Horn; thence by the summit of the watershed over Mount Alfred, Mouseback, and the Chimney, to Catlin’s Cone; thence by a right line to the source of the Waipahi River; and thence by the said river to its confluence with the Pomahaka River.

This district is bounded towards the North by a right line running due east from the Mataura River over the Pyramid to the Pomahaka River; thence towards the East by the said river and by the Waipahi River to its source; thence by a right line to Catlin’s Cone; thence by the summit of the watershed over Catlin’s Cone, Bleak Hill, and Black Horn, to Chasland’s Mistake; thence towards the South by the ocean to a point due south of Trig. Station L, Oteramika Hundred; towards the West by right lines through Trig. Stations L, M, E, and J, in said hundred, Trig. Station T, Lothian Survey District, and a line running due north to a point due west of the confluence of Charlton Creek with the Mataura River; thence towards the North by a right line running due east to the mouth of Charlton Stream; thence by the Mataura River to a point due west of Pyramid Hill, the starting point.

This district is bounded towards the West by the Waimatuku River to the Riverton Railway line; thence towards the North by the said railway and the Makarewa and Hedgehope Rivers to a point due west of the confluence of the Charlton with the Mataura; thence by a line running due east to the Mataura Electoral District; towards the East by the Alataura Electoral District; towards the South and South-west by the ocean: exclusive of the Electoral District of Invercargill, and including Stewart and other adjacent Islands.
