An Act to amend “The Workers’ Dwellings Act, 1905.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Workers’ Dwellings Act Amendment Act, 1905”
; and it shall form part of and be read together with “The Workers’ Dwellings Act, 1905”
(hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”
).
2 Defence reserves may be set apart under principal Act.
The Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, set apart under the principal Act the Polhill Gully and the Forts Reserve, Miramar, and any other land reserved for defence purposes that in his opinion is not required for such purposes, in the same manner as if the same were ordinary Crown land.
3 Section 4 of principal Act amended.
Section four of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing the words “three hundred pounds,”
and substituting in lieu thereof the words “three hundred and fifty pounds if constructed of wood, or four hundred pounds if constructed of brick, stone, or concrete.”
