An Act to amend the Legislature Act, 1908.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the Legislative Council Amendment Act, 1915, and shall form part of and be read together with the Legislature Act, 1908.

2 Legislative Council Act, 1914, amended.

Subsection two of section one and subsection two of section twenty-three of the Legislative Council Act, 1914, are each amended by omitting the words “the first day of January, nineteen hundred and sixteen,” and substituting the words “the first day of September, nineteen hundred and seventeen.”
